Back to School Baking

Here in Indiana, it's almost that time!  Supplies have been purchased, schedules have been made, meals have been planned, and even in homeschool, we've definitely been gearing up.

There are so many ways to homeschool; some families are very laid back about the whole process.

I have never been mistaken for a laid back person.  I'm writing syllabi, planning reading lists, assembling history curriculum, cross checking science curriculum, laying out schedules and goals for each individual child. 6 different children in 7 different grades is no joke! (The number 7 is not a mistake, folks, one of my children is in accelerated math.)

What does that mean for baking?

It means that my baking times have to be more intentional than ever.  This means more notice, very likely opening pre-orders, and we may transition to some porch pickups during the week.  I take their schooling very seriously!  So, the long and short of it is:

We will still see you at our bake stands at least once a month!  The cooler temperatures aren't here yet, but they'll be here before you know it.  Lunchboxes will need to be filled with treats, and Friday night pizza nights will continue to be family staples.  We're just hoping to add our family treats into your family traditions.

See you soon.
